I've been playing in MA orange all night, got discoed. I thought nothing of it, happens from time to time so i tried to log back in.  After 2-3 tries and unable to connect I thought maybe my internet is down, so I opened a browser, brought up google, checked my email, no problems, but could not bring up the forums.  Finally got logged on again and discoed in < 10 seconds.  Rinse repeat 4-5 times and finally got on the forums to post this now :\

If you cannot get to the forums, or are having trouble getting to the main WEB page, there is a good chance you will not be able to maintain a connection to the game servers either.

When this happens, you need to run a Ping Plot to see where the failure is.  If your ISP is using Level3 as its Tier 1 transport, the problems you describe would not surprise me.

Surfing the WEB is very different from playing a real-time game over the Internet.  "Pardon me while I stop your plane in the air until we can finally get that packet of data to your computer", does not work so well.

I hate to admit the man is right (Skuzzy) level 3 is likely the cause . This happen to me  a few weeks back, ran ping plotter as requested, and level 3 the cause, and now the problem is back as of yesterday. Now up to 69 discos on my score in the DA! Woo Hoo im going for the record 100 LOL. Just give some time it will work it self out in a few days you will see!
