Haha, I know what you mean - you really have to enjoy the challenge/teamwork of formation flying to be interested in this sort of thing, it's a lot of fun.

I love formation flying, but I doubt my computer could handle a game like that. Looks like a lot of fun!

LOMAC is the preferred flight sim of the Virtual Thunderbirds. The multiplayer network code in LOMAC is pretty much the fastest/smoothest available, which is critical for precision close-in formation flying. I have LOMAC and Flamin Cliffs, but I never got to try it out online. I have done formation flying in several games and have always had prolbems with net lag. I wonder how much better LOMAC is?

Cobra  :furious

I already spend enough time on AH2 now you have to show me this.... but the cat's out of the bag and now I'm seriously interested. I watched some of the performances on Saturday and caught most of the Su-27 Berkuts show. It was pretty good, a little long and not all maneuvers were performed close enough to the crowd but still pretty cool. They obviously put A LOT of time practicing. So now you have to tell me the what, when, where and who so I can check this out.

There's the replay from our show on Sunday - unfortunately Livestream decided to take a dump about half way through.  I think it has something to do with the amount of viewers and the fact that the VFAT account is in Europe.  All of the US teams seemed to have issues, the Blue Angels show dropped on Sat and Sunday it was unwatchable due to the freezes/lag, very frustrating, especially for them after putting so much time into practicing.

We plan to fly another live show either later this month or sometime in January.

I have a question.

Why is the "5" on the #5 Thunderbird upside down?

It's like that because he is the opposing solo, and it's right side up most of the time. :)

Anyone ever try putting aerobatic demo teams together in Aces high? :rofl I  enjoy trying to wing tip to tip. Fun stuff other than shooting stuff.

Thanks for posting and  good luck. :airplane:
