Planes move slow....
« on: December 22, 2009, 11:24:21 AM »
I have noticed that the planes in the game to not match the same maneuverability as in WW2 video, was wondering if that could be tampered with to make it more realistic.
Would seem my only decent plane

My bet is the ww2 video he's referring is shown too fast.

the perceived "feel" of flight is incredibly difficult to judge by sitting in a comfy chair behind your PC. There are no engine vibrations, no head winds/tail winds, among other things. If you want to feel speed, up a 262 and fly 100 feet AGL.

Ironically, it's the pilots around here who are proven to be "slow"...

If so he's a busy one. Check out some of his threads on the other forums.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

Try flying without Icons.  It is more difficult sometimes to determine if a plane i moving away or toward you.  Believe me when he zips pass you when you thought he was going the other way its fast.
