Its possible. I had a friends wife that passed at 26yrs old due to a heart condition that went un diagnosed from childhood.She died from cardiac arrest also, and never drank, smoked or did drugs. She left behind a husband and a 1yrold baby. Quite sad

My first thought was drugs, ( especially after the SNL skit 2 weeks ago) but I read an article that quoted her claiming to have a heart condition from a few years ago so its possible she passed away from that.  Either way its a tragedy to die so young, and having it happen so close to Christmas just adds to it.

Yeah, she was a celebrity. But celebrity doesn't by default mean there were drugs involved.

So far they're saying natural causes, and she had flu-like symptoms in the days leading up to her death.

My cousin got into the coke scene at about the same age. Damn near killed herself. Developed a heart murmur, had deterioration of the heart wall, lost weight, had a minor heart attack which woke her up and she straightened up.

Looks like this gal didn't see the light coming on.

 You are correct Bi,it was uncalled for,but not ignorant as I'm fully aware of what damage can be done from drugs.

 I've seen pix of her resently and she looked awfully thin and while that could be cause from several things I assumed eating disorder or Cola,afterall wasnt it Robin Willams that said"cocaine is gods way of telling you your making to much money"

 So if I offended you I appologize,it was crass on my part.To be honest I didnt believe it was true was thought I'd make a joke of it........

What a shame...

Hey, not to sound mean or anything, but is she related to Eddie Murphy? 

Poor girl, it could have been a combination of a weakened immune system from undereating and a nasty case of the flu, perhaps H1N1.  Anyway, one of my babysitters died from heroin.  She seemed nice, and cared for us very well.  She was buried not too long ago.  We shouldn't rule anything out from what could have happened.

From what I've been reading it may have been due to drugs, but prescription drugs.  They're saying that when they found her she was in the shower with vomit all over, and that they found a large amount of prescription drugs in the house.

No worries bro. She was an amazing person. like i said, i met her a few times. and laughed so hard each time her and i spoke. But she had many health issues, including heart issues from the drugs.

I personally know what drugs do to you. I HAD a $500 a day drug habit. I just dont see jokes about drugs very funny. Ive helped bury many friends because of it. And watched many great people destroy their lives.

Same here, I don't think there's anything more evil in this world then drugs, the person they turn you into is just horrible.  I've been sober now for just over 3 1/2 years and I'm so much happier in my life now, I would never want to go back to the person I was during that period.
