sidewinder problem
« on: December 22, 2009, 06:40:56 PM »
AH recognizes my sidewinder, but only goes sideways, doesn't move up or down at all (unless the plane is falling, but that's not intentional).

I did calibrate it, but saw Skuzzy's post from months ago about calibrating in Windows. How do you do that part?

Thanks y'all :)

Did you assign 'pitch control' to the stick, in Control Settings?
I forgot to do that before.

(this was with an X-52, but still the same deal I think)   :headscratch:

I get lost with the techno-babble (I know it's not babble... but don't understand it anyhow).  So I asked my husband to fix it.  Sounds like man's work to me. :D

I appreciate it, Coogn :)

NP TexasMom.
I know that Ghost walked me through my problem, last year.
I hate to bug anyone for help, but I had no choice.  It was my first stick and I was lost.
