Change bomber formations?

The best way to implement the formation changes is not in type of formation but in altitude of drones.  Make one go low and the other high.

Right now, the bombsights are geared for speed first then altitude to some degree.  If a drone was 100 feet lower or higher the altitude difference would be negligible.   After an altitude difference of 3000 ft., maybe then a new calibration would be in order.

How about adding 3 more to the formation? while were on the subject; What happened to the radio operators gun? If you loose the top turret your outta luck, we need that position, and AI gunners would be nice like in the offline. Too many times people are killing bombers that were not that easy to get that close to, some realism with them would be appreciated, bombers were dangerous to get up to, not fly in and smoke em, move to the next.

That would be particularly useful for the Ju 88's on a torpedo run!

Yep I agree. When I flew in WB's the AI's were deadly and you could gun in that position also as a human gunner.

Same here in WB you could change Formation style good for defence ore send AI drones to land on other fields
