Sorry if doublepost, but I haven´t found anything in the forum regarding the same plane (Bf 109 G2 "Gelbe 3")
Link follows to a Norway internetsite with a nice video.
I translated the text into English (using g oogle).
- The aircraft is almost complete, with the exception of a cockpit hood that was thrown by the emergency landing, "says curator Birger Larsen at the Norwegian Aviation Museum in Bodø, told NRK.
- Norwegian Aviation Museum has secured ownership rights to the German plane. The plane is located in the sea north of Vikna in Nord-Trondelag.
- We hope to have raised it in the next year, "says Larsen.
Divers found the flight
The aircraft is the type of Messerschmitt Bf 109 and was a relatively common flymodell under 2 World War 2. After the overthrow in 1943, there has been search after the aircraft for many years.
It was from Folla diving Divers who found the wreck in the summer. The wreck was found with a mini-submarine, and the atmosphere (?) was great when the wreck appeared.
When plane crashed, it was on its way north on reconnaissance along with two other machines. Over Rørvik had the engine problem.
- It fell, but the pilot managed to correct it before it took the water surface. He came out and was rescued by a woman who lived on an island in the vicinity, says Mikalsen.
