I dont like the Pac-10 either Im a SEC guy.

Pac-10 as a whole is overhyped imo.  USC should not have expected to have been good losing all those starters and oregon was the only legit team in the Pac-10 but that loss to Boise did raise questions about just how good they actually are.

here is what we have as far as conference standing.

SEC    2-4
Pac10  2-5
Big12  4-2
Big 10  3-2

SEC not as strong as they think they are.  Big 10 with three big wins

I think you need to go back and look again oakdinger; the SEC is 2-3 with the 3rd win going to be posted a little later tonight. BUT so far you have had the SEC downtrodden and reduced freshmen squads are getting practice and playing time so far. Oh BTW the Big-10...errr choke conference only has 2 wins so far and that might be all they get since they other two games are against some pretty good football teams.

You can't put a POS Tennessee team with a POS head coach up against a quality opponent like VT and expect them to win. Even us SEC fans aren't that stupid unlike all you Pac-10 fools. Kentucky wasn't that good this year but they still did a decent job against a decent Clemson team. LSU was out coached...but then anyone that watches SEC football knows that Les Miles (LSU head coach) couldn't beat his way out of a wet paper bag with a sharp stick. Tomorrow is the separation day for the SEC teams that are the good ones.

South Carolina should win but it is going to be close; in fact I should be there at that game tomorrow just to watch it since they are playing the bowl game here in Birmingham. Ole Miss and Arkansas should both win but for Arkansas it is going to depend on which offensive unit shows up.

See down here we tend to understand football and play football better than most of you other homers. I am not saying we all know what we are talking about but I find that ding dongs from other areas who tout the throw and show conferences don't know jack and only watch ESPN Sports Center for the highlights to make themselves look good. Come down here to the south and I promise you will not find any other region as INTENSE about college football and people that understand the intricacies of coverages, defensive schemes and how to run the various offenses like you find here. We start 'em young and they tend to be the ones that populate the majority of the NFL rosters that all the wannabes see playing on Sunday.

Well look how many times Ohio State has choked in big games.

i counted one game that they choked... against FU.  They where not favor to will against Texas in 2008 and thanks to so many 1# ranked team that kept loosing in 2007, OSU just got right back to that spot to play LSU.  so technically they did not choke in that game nor where they favor to win it.

thx Reschke, not sure where i got that 4th lost in the SEC.  Big 10 3 wins are OSU, PSU and Wisc (beat Miami)

Does the Big East still deserve its BCS bowl bid?

Rutgers defeated some no name school.
Pitt barely looses to an UNC team that lost its running back.
WVU looses to a 6-6 Florida State team.
Cincinatti gets destroyed by Florida.
Uconn plays South Carolina either today or tomorrow.

Oregon should have lost to a Purdue team that didn't even qualify for a bowl, earlier this season.  I correctly picked both the Ohio State and Penn State games in my confidence pool.  That put the conference at 3-2.  But Michigan State pretty much has no chance against Texas Tech.  The Iowa game should be interesting, I have Iowa picked to win.  A 4-3 result in bowls this season for the Big Ten will look pretty good.

Iowa won't beat Georgia Tech.

I knew Cinci wouldn't have a chance against Florida.  I watched Cinci play Illinois....the worst team in the Big10 and almost lost.

South Carolina came out and flubbed it up big time. They have an explosive offense and a really good defense but they put neither one on the bus ride from Columbia, SC to Birmingham for this game. I ended up giving my tickets away this morning since I still wasn't feeling good (sinus infection and bronchitis) and hated it until I watched the game this afternoon.

Yes, Big 10 is better than most ppl think.  And if they go 4-3 this year, it is far better than the pst three three years.

I'm by no means confident in Iowa.  All the other option offenses have won, and in fact I was the only one in my confidence pool to correctly pick Air Force.  I hope they do win though, it'll be a huge pickup for me in the pool, might be enough to put me in the money :) .

You can't count MSU out tonight, they still pack a punch. TT can't come out playing as if MSU is a nobody team, or they might pay. I am leaning to an upset, MSU 28, TT 24.

Jeez, I hope you didn't go to MSU, its Motor City, not Moter City.  And MSU put up a much better fight than I expected.  I'm looking forward to how Iowa fares.

I also have Boise State picked to win, and almost no one else does in my pool, so if I'm right its huge, if I'm wrong, I'm probably done.

Aside from OSU, Penn State and Wisconsin, the rest are fighting for nothing.

Iowa didn't have a good season?  10 wins isn't good enough for you?
