Ok, I actually watched it and even though I want so hard to just join in the flaming I will give you a hint or two.

You will rarely hit anything, let alone kill from 1.5 out, even 1000 out in most planes.  A good range is within 600, or probably 400.  Also, um, gear are important for a good landing.  There is no need to shut off your engine though, you can just throttle back.  You may need to add a little more power last minute or even abort the landing for whatever reason.

Also, most people don't really care about your offline kills, actually most people won't care about any kills, even your online ones.  You can use this forum to ask serious questions about flying and tactics but be specific.  Make sure you read the entire http://trainers.hitechcreations.com/ site.

I recall my first movie (i was so proud of it) killing few buffers in a lala offline. I didn't know what people want to watch at that time.
