Colon cancer CAN be cured but only if it's caught in time. Unfortunately many men are such wusses and afraid to go to the Dr because they think they too studly to get something like cancer. Either that or they are afraid that the Dr. will tell them something they don't want to hear. As a result many of those manly men end up dying because they were to afraid to go to the Dr.

Suck it up. Go see the doc and get the finger wave and a PSA blood test. When it's time get a colonoscopy. You don't impress anyone by saying you are too strong for that crap. It just lets folks know you are a genuine pansy because you are afraid of Dr's.

Trust me hearing a diagnosis of cancer can screw up your entire day but that's not the worst thing. Hearing it's untreatable because you let it go and ignored the symptoms will ruin your entire life. Hearing it could have been treated easily before just confirms you were stupid and you threw your life away. That is the definition of suck.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Hope your doing better now sir   :salute

Been about 17 years now and I remember it almost like it was yesterday. then again I have a few scars to remind me both physically and psychologically. But fortunately the gripping fear of recurrence has lessened to almost nonexistance over the years.
All in all though. Other then being 48 and not 31 any longer. So far Im doing just ducky.

you missed my point.

there is no money in curing the disease. there is only  money in treating it.

Yep, greed and control will take over.

Another new and exciting development. Seems there is a relatively harmless virus that likes to attack and kill cancer cells

Only this one may hit the market by 2012
