just wanted 2 no
« on: January 11, 2010, 11:50:46 PM »
So is there any chance of getting F3 mode gone in the DA?As I no and been told the DA is a practice arena for use of all planes minus a couple, reason I ask is after spending many hours in the MA and days not going to the DA it's hard to adjust to having to account for those who fly in F3 mode. You think your safe turning under, turning a sharp down ward turn and so on.Just why is there a F3 in DA and not MA?What purpose does F3 bring.Does it not make it easier and you gain nothing for using it.Why not make it even all around the table for everyone and only upper hand you get is for being a better stick.

You are assuming that flying in F3 mode is an advantage.  If you are getting smacked around in the DA, it's most likely because you are being out flown and has nothing to do with F3.

No I do very well in the DA.And as for being out flown in the since yes in F3 mode your able to see so much more as all of you no already it's a huge upper hand to see completely around you and underneath. So yes I do get out flown by those who are in F3 mode not cause I'm a bad stick only because they see more then what I can in views.Out of the 50 who fly there on a regular bases I think I'm in the top 20,but for the MA I'm in the 1400 range and that not being very good. All I'm asking what is F3 mode for if it can not be used in MA and why have it at all.

F3 view is an advantage in a "multi threat" environment. Arguably it is easier to create a few obsene snapshots in F3 also, although I would say only the better flying peeps could use that advantage in any reliable fassion! With that said I also was always a fan of removing F3 view from any plane with FORWARD firing guns!  :aok   :bolt:

Oh and the correct spelling for how you are using the word "no" is actually---> KNOW!!  FYI  :aok

How is this an upper hand?  Controlling the aircraft from the outside isn't an advantage imo.  And how do you know anyone you are fighting is using F3?  Do you just assume whenever you get beat that they are using F3?  F3 mode doesn't help maneuvering your aircraft in the least bit.  In fact it hurts.

Were you really in such a hurry that you couldn't type the three extra characters needed to spell the subject properly?  I know time is money.  Perhaps you needed to get back to your Silent Hill fanfic or something.  In that case I understand.

F3 will still let you pull insane shots off rather easily, I am talking 6 G grey out and putting the target way under the nose.

The DA (or more specifically, furball lake) is irrelevant and a cess pool of childish attitudes and poor flying.
