Strange white flashes
« on: January 11, 2010, 08:04:10 PM »
I flew a little while today, and I ran into something I've never seen before.Every once in awhile a got a real bright white flash that lasted for just a second.I think it was when I took a look into the sun,as that has always been real bright, but I'm not sure.I just downloaded the latest driver for my two Nvidia 250's running in SLI.That was my first suspicion,so I changed from letting the application decide what my cards run at,to my settings, set for good graphics.I flew a little more, and I still had the flashes.I think I will roll back the driver, and see how that works. The only other changes I made to my puter, was that I plugged a couple of 8Gig flash drives into usb as Ready Boost to see if I could generate any noticeable improvements.Any thoughts, ideas, etc.?Thanks in advance.

Hrmm...  are you sure you aren't being transported to a different place IN TIME every time one of these flashes occur?  Is your nose bleeding?

I figured it out.....A updater was running annd it probably was the culprit.Shut it down in processes, and bingo no more flashes.
