Sighting in how? Determining range?

Ranging is mostly a matter of learning hull size at a given distance.
From there its mostly a matter of learning to straddle your target.

There are a few tankers who can kill you with 2 -3 shots at 4k, but like anything else its a learned skill.
There is no magic button, its practice patience and persistence.

Hit the Z key to ZOOM then the [ ] keys to increase/decrease zoom.

My sights were blurry even in a plane for a little while and on
a pretty fast rig. I couldn't figure it out. I then changed my
field of view and tested it out a few times. Now while sitting all the
way back in the seat (head position) the sights are crystal clear.
Before you change it write down what it is set at and use it as a benchmark.
It should be in the graphics settings before you enter the arena list screen on the clipboard. I hope this helps you out and doesn't come out in text as confusing.
