ever been in a 2 0n 2 dogfight with a fellow country member u dont know. u engage your bogey an he engages his, but only thing is the allie guy cant get his guns on his guy so he keeps attempting to pick yours while his bogey sattles up on ya without tellin ya?

thats the all to fun aspect of spontaneously winging with an unknown..

No greater feeling than telling him "ive got this guy" and he says "ok ive got that guy"  then a few seconds later you see a 2nd set of tracers firing at your guy, only to look back and see his guy is sawing you in half.

another fave is when they bug with no warning.. you think everything is peachy because of no chatter, and suddenly you realize your wing man is smoking and 4k away running for his life and his con is sitting on your arse.  "thanks buddy.. ive got it from here.. boom!"

On the opposite end...about a year ago, I had a 2 on 1 migrate into another fight and it ended up as a 6 on 2.  Didn't even notice the friendlies ID for awhile, just that there was a green guy there, and I adjusted my tactics based on the friendly.  We mopped up...and it was no wonder.  The friendly was Flyboy.  It's really fun to get tangled up with a friendly who knows what they're doing, and communication is really not needed.

You know when you have this guy 1K on your 6 and you are setting him up and then you get a check 6, you tell the friendly you are ok but nooooo, he has to save you.  Only, he blows his pass and the guy he left to come help you is now on your six killing you as you are about to pull the trigger on your problem?  Is that what we are talking about?

i think my favorite thing is when you are in a 1v1 with no one else around then outta nowhere a friendly shows up and starts firing over your shoulder unannounced. always makes me break hard to avoid being shot down just to see it was a friendly that now is getting the kill i was working on

I had that happen before. i dont recall who was the cool feller rook, but we mopped up 6 nme on our way rtb, 2vs2 all fights it was fun <S> whoever that rook was. I forgot to record that flight, seems i always do not record when im in my best fights whether i live or die.

well thats kinda what it is, only my enemy con is never on my 6 (but the thought of him thinking he was saving my tail is a nice optimistic way of looking at it), however im simply maneuvirng nearly getting my guns on my guy only to have to disengage a couple times to avoid getting ripped apart by the allies con. me and the friendly were victorious i just do not like soo much that i had to allow the allie to have my kill i setup, while i was reversing his from killing me. with no communications aside from me sayin "darnit would u stick with your guy or tell me when hes on my tail atleast!!"
