What the man said is correct dude...... Your idea cannot, will never be done.  Why?  If I get 5 perks to fly the Mossie automatically, what stops me from upping, landing, upping, landing, upping, landing?  Suddenly, I do that for a whole hour and have 1000 new fighter perks for doing absolutely nothing.

Please read my post again  ;)

How about free perks for being on the side that wins teh warz!!1!?

All I would have to do is switch sides to the side that was obviously dominating the arena and wait in the tower for the inevitable.

What about the inverse?  You up in your SpitXVI and lose perk points if you don't land, or even if you don't get a kill?

Perk 'em all.....

This idea could have various implementations. My suggestion is a payment by minute system: If I'm flying a P40B I'd get 0.25 perks a minute of my air time, for example.

So you up a P-40B, at some base way behind lines with full fuel and drop tank, set the auto pilot, and go watch TV.  Your plane flies for an hour, you come back and fly an hour to land, and you get 30 perks for doing nothing?  Naw current system works fine.

Well, judging from the fact that 99.9% of ideas on this Wishlist never get put into production (even those less retarded then my own) then not having it implemented was not really one of my major concerns.

Having said that, 1000 perks / hr comes our roughly to 17 perks per minute, thus your arguments premise is slightly ridiculous :D. I suggested 0.25, but this may be adjusted much the same as perk cost / plane is today.

Care to bargain? How about 0.1 perks per minute. Your turn.

Picture: 133711 (or other zip code, or lazy older player) ups a P-40B with as much fuel as possible, climbs to 1k over the ocean and sets autopilot into the blue yonder on max cruise.  Come back 30 minutes later, turns around and heads back.  Weeee 15 perks for going to get groceries!  Three more times and I can up my Tempest of doom and show these guys how to run.   ;)

I fly the spit because I like it. But yes, the 308 RAF flew most if not all the spit variants that I also like most. Ben Affleck was flying a 303 Polish Squadron spitfire, but it wasn't a 16. I believe it was a 9, but I may be incorrect

But not even Ben Affleck could do the death blossom maneuver that so many XVI pilots have perfected in AH.
