Idea to increase people in AH

Being an AH newbie and looking for a new sim for my squad to try out, AH falls short in a few areas, which makes us hesitant about trying it out properly. One thing the game needs is an off-line mode like WB where you can fly against AI (and it would be nice to choose these before starting an on-line game). even one or 2 AI plane would make this option useful. Flying around off-line is nice, but you don't get any feel for the planes' combat potential. This makes going on-line alot more of a stumbling block, as you are completely unprepared for any combat situation.
There have also been various bugs which have gotten in the way, which hasn't been nice. Hopefully I can clear these up.
Also, there is no info at this website about any on-line events a la Warbirds (or are there?), so it's difficult to judge what's going on in the world of AH.
I don't have any real probs with the flight-models. I must admit that the game seems to lack polish, and so think that's a bit expensive to try out as an on-line game when it's obviously not a finished product.

Sparks has it right, Realism is the key. Hang that word in front of those WWII history nuts & they'll come running.

Advertise in the WWII Avaiation mags.
"Experience the same thrill's & terror's that the WWII fighter jock felt going into combat". Promote the Realism, warn em of the incredibly difficult learning curve. Watch em show up in droves!
