May I be added, please?  I'm going to try to show up as an Axis walk-on, if it's possible for walk-ons to have a side preference.

Yep, walkons can have a preference.

As walkons aren't registered, though, they generally don't get access to the side forums (although a side CO can grant access if he is sure enough that the person won't be playing on multiple sides during the scenario).
