I thought if I hit registered on your end, the damage would be done, even if the other guy had a crap connection, the "damage" packet will be resent till it gets through   :headscratch:

Maybe he completely dropped out? Then he would no longer register in game, It would be a ghost there till the TTL dropped I guess.

*edit* just a fluke I guess

If you look closely at the middle of the windscreen, you can see some lucky pink fluffy dice hanging from the view rear mirror..either that, or due to defence budget cuts the bomb was made in china.

I'm sure the GVers who get popped by 100lb bombs say the same thing. But it happens. I can drop a 1000lber on a tanks head and get nothing. Everytime one lands within a sector of me I'm toast.

It's been my experience that the Skfz 251 is crazy durability vs. bombs.  I've been hit by 2 500 lb bombs in one, one bomb at a time, the "clunggg" sound of a hit, and survived.

Machine guns or cannons and they pop like any other light armored vehicle.

In my personal opinion extreme armor slopes of the 251 would channel forces away from the vehicle. I still think the crew would be severely wounded or dead from overpressure damage.

Regardless it's a 1K bomb...not a 250lb or 100lb bomb...

the real question is why not save the bomb and just gun the light vehical down? Then you could bomb a tank with the big egg later

The 251s are extremely resilient, you would be surprised.

True in this instance I would say this vehicle should have died.
