It's been awhile since I've heard a Howard Stern prank call, they use to happen all the time.

I remember whatching CNN once.  Live show with live callers.  One of Stern's people.  It was former Carter staffer Zbignew Brizenski and a few other ex-government bigwigs all talking about US/Soviet missle talks.

The caller comes on and asks Brizenski " As for the American missles in Europe versus the Soviet missiles, are the Soviet missiles as big as the one in your pants?"

There is an extremely long pause....

TV views switch to the different guests as if the producer has no clue what to do...all guests have stoic blank looks on their faces.

Brizenski smiles quickly then goes into a long protracted answer about the payloads and ranges of both missles.

They didn't take any more phone calls on that show that day.

I remember seeing video on YouTube of someone "Rick Rolling" a British religious program (looked like something like the 700 Club). They didn't outright do it with the music, but someone sent in a letter to be readon on the air, and tricked the guy (prominent pastor/preacher/whatever) into reading the lyrics.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.
