Lol!!! didn't even notice that at first  :D. Is it true you only read the first and last two letters and fill in the rest? Just curious.
Kinda.  The letters in between the first and last can be scrambled, but they have to be the right letters or you subconscious won't figure it out.
I'm Sector95 in-game! :-D

I really don't understand ENY or the need for it. i know, i know 'refer to thread blah blah@ or check rule number 728, but seriously, this is a contentious issue. i pretty much only fly spit 8 and seafires, i get shot down by mediocre pilots in early war a/c, i sometimes shoot down good pilots in late war perk planes, including a 262 (once)

I hear so much on here and in game about its the pilot not the plane, i could up 262's every day and die all the time, same as dying in tempest etc. My point is that it is mostly about the pilot, and his ability to capitalise on the relative advantages of a particular a/c. I'll be the first to admit that I am pretty hopeless as a pilot, and that it's unimportant to a certain extent what you fly, good pilots in a spit 1 or brewster will wipe the floor with poor pilots in 38's and spit 14's f6's etc.

Why not just let everyone fly what they want to fly, if it's 5 to 1, you're most probably going to be toast, even if you're in a spit 14 and the enemy is in gloster gladiators

I really don't understand ENY or the need for it.

Maybe you would if you had been here before ENY was implemented ;)
For most players, it's no fun being massively outnumbered, but being massively outnumbered by an enemy that can fly what he wants (=110 noe hordes, Spi16's Temps and so on) is even less fun. Eny is just leveling the playing field a bit.

I hear so much on here and in game about its the pilot not the plane,

One can hear many things that aren't entirely correct. ;) It's about the pilot AND the plane. A Tempest or P-39D - It's a huge difference in terms of balance & gameplay.

it's unimportant to a certain extent what you fly, good pilots in a spit 1 or brewster will wipe the floor with poor pilots in 38's and spit 14's f6's etc.

Yes, to a certain extend. And that "extend" is quite smaller than you may think. I think I can consider myself being a above average pilot, and I do have good success in a Hurri I, but still it's a huge difference to being in a La-7, Pony or Tempest. For the average pilot the difference the plane scan make for gameplay is even bigger.

Why not just let everyone fly what they want to fly, if it's 5 to 1, you're most probably going to be toast, even if you're in a spit 14 and the enemy is in gloster gladiators

Almost all of the time everbody can fly what he want's to fly (perk rides aside). And if ENY kicks in, you still can: If the plane matters so much to you, switch sides, fly for the underdog.

The "its the pilot, not the plane" thing doesn't apply to GV's. Tiger pwns, period.

Average tiger driver agains an average panzer driver: tiger wins.

Poor tiger driver against average panzet driver: tiger wins

good tiger driver against expert panzer driver: 50/50 chance the tiger wins.

In planes, its much less clean cut. I've seen great T-34 drivers that will charge a tiger, turret it, get in behind, and kill it before I've even got a shot off at it.

LOL!!! you havn't been playing long have you?  In the game the tiger isn't much and is easily killed by a number of other GVs. Do a search on the boards here to see the complaints of the tiger being too easy to kill.

As for the "its the pilot, not the plane" it is true, but more for the better than average pilots. ENY helps evens things up for the rest of us  :D

Go to the DA, fly in the dweeb lake area and fly on the low number side.  You will quickly figure out the need for both perk and eny. :old:

Thats arguable fugative. If there are no AC attacking it, then the tiger can be, and often is a tough nut to crack.

I wasn't saying thats how it would be, but its the way to bet. I've been killed in a tiger mostly by being swarmed and bombed. Nothing can do much against 6 panzers, and an M4 swarming toward you.

Notice I never said a thing about the T-34/85 and M4. They can give the tiger an actual fight, but I have yet to see a panzer or a T-34 kill a tiger single handed. Yes, there are great drivers that can kill a tiger no mater what they're in, but I've never seen one get a kill alone.

i've seen t34's and panzers kill the tiger. i know, 'cause i was the tiger.

I know it can happen, what I'm saying is that I haven't seen a lone panzer or T-34/76 beat a lone tiger.

it was a lone tank each time that got me.

Had you been hit multiple times before then? Or were you both in fresh tanks?

If you were, then I will admit my position isn't as solid as I thought it was, but I still have some ground to stand on.

It isn't solid.  Lone Panzers kill Tigers all the time.  It is more difficult with the T-34/76, but doable (and I've both done and had done to me).  It is all about range and hit location.

Like I said, your new. Spend some more time in the tiger and you will find it dies as easily as any other tank. I suck in GV's and even I can kill a tiger in one shot with a panzer and have done it many times.

Agree 100% about the Panzer...... But unless they changed the T34/76 with the new update, it CANNOT kill a Tiger even at point blank range.

And before anybody tries to tell me I'm dumb for saying it, go offline, up a T34/76 and hit the H spawn, go and try and kill the Tiger on the base.  Come back and agree with me biattttch!
