I don't want to be a downer here but I feel like my excitement for WWI has peaked and receded.  I hope being 6 weeks behind schedule hasn't built up expectations too much, or there will be some sorely disappointed pilots. 

Dang, how pessimistic of me.

I don't think HTC should announce stuff like this ahead of time,just release it when done.It made them look bad with combat tour,and saying we would have WWI before new year and we still don't have ,is going to lead to some disappointment.

But with that being said.





I'm still very exited, and thankfull to HTC for the work done on this and i cant wait to play.

Yeah I was really surprised when they gave any kind of date on having it ready by, HTC usually doesn't do that, for exactly this reason.

I am the opposite of this.  I would rather have them say we are working it and hope to have it out ASAP and actually take a little longer than ASAP, as opposed to having them say nothing at all about anything being developed.

Having said that I could really personally benifit from some new content in this game.  I hope they can muster out the new stuff here within at least a few more weeks.

They never gave a release date for the WWI arena.  All they stated was that they hope to get it out by the New Year, that's hardly a release date set in stone.

Release of the WWI planes is expected before the end of the year although it will not be in the next version release.
sounds like a date to me.Any date before,Jan 1'st 2010.
