spawn on map - not on clipboard
« on: March 02, 2010, 02:43:21 PM »
Trinity map:

The cursor is pointing to what should be the SE spawn on the clipboard.

SE spawn is not selectable.  The E spawn puts you NE of 140.

Tried to take a PT Boat to save 140 but ended up closer to the bish airfield.

And how can man die better, than facing fearful odds.
For the ashes of his fathers and the temples of his Gods."

Since airfields do not have a default hanger (H) boat entry spawn point, the first boat entry added to that field gets assigned to the H spawn button.  In the above case, the first boat spawn from A145 is going to V140 (cursor in image) and is assigned to the H-button.

Map makers should put the initial boat spawn next to the airfield or vehicle base to serve as the H spawn so it is easier for the community to figure out which button goes with a boat spawn point.

AH-HGHAH!

That scene from Coming To America always pops into my head  during an "ah-hah" moment
