Looks like they already sent home over 30 athletes for doping, thats gotta suck getting there then having to go home, but I guess they deserve it.

The X Games have pretty much made the winter olympics a dull runner up.

Not 100% correct. 30 athletes were not given the ok to go to the olympics so they were not sent home.

Gonna be some late nights for me as there is a 9 hour time difference. Going to watch all the alpine events, snowboarding and a couple of others.

My top 3 teams:

USA
Norway
Sweeden

Not a bad guess for the top 3 spots but the only one im sure will be up there this time is the USA. Canda, Germany and Russia will also be high up on the list. Finland is an outsider.

I think I'm one of the only people that likes the winter olympics better than summer..  :aok

+1

The X Games have pretty much made the winter olympics a dull runner up.

-1. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the X-games... but show me the event where people are hitting 90 MPH with nothing but 2 boards between them and the maker.  Also, the only commentators I can't stand more than Olympic ones are X-games ones....Brah.

Sure did.  Devastating for the country, since they only sent a handful of competitors.  Our company's Georgia office is understandably upset.   :(  Unfortunately I'm not sure he will be the only major injury (or god forbid, fatality) on that course.

So are they shipping snow yet from the southern US to Vancouver where they need it?

Anyways... 4 years ago a buddy of mine ran a Winter Olympics pool... yes we actually picked teams/individuals to win every single Golly-geen event.  I thought it would be fun but by the time I did research and made my pick in the 20th event I wanted to kill him for making me agree to bet on those Olympics.  It took something like 6 hours to pick them all, and most of the time someone I'd never heard of won the event anyways.  Needless to say, he's either not doing it this time or I wasn't invited to the pool.  Either way is fine with me, lol.

This is the Captain.  We have a lil' problem with our entry sequence so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.

Theres a couple events I'm looking at to bet, like snowboarding, I already took Apollo Ohno tomorrow for Speed Skating.

Only events I ever watch in the Winters are the skiing, none of the rest interests me. The Summers, however, I would watch 24/7 if I didn't have to work or sleep at some point.
Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.
