This is a good point but this almost basically the same as killing a carrier with a Lancaster NOE with the 5inchers manned.In the Sub ed least you got a chance not being detected right away.

Not to mention you have one deck gun and torps against the firepower of the whole fleet. You're better off with a PT boat or your NOE Lancs, unless of course you want to spend a whole day or night stalking an enemy task force.

Top speed of the best submarines was only in the low 20 knot range, the fleet in AH2 is well above 30 I believe.

That's why I say we have some ports something like pearl harbor just less defended and have some oil tankers to sink.Just make it in the port kill some tankers while there still in port.
