DB-60x engine series question
« on: February 09, 2001, 05:32:00 PM »
How much manifold pressure did the DB-60x series pull? I know the DB-601 pulled about 54", but what about the rest?

S!

Would be nice if the Manifold pressure was shown as in the original LW planes. Not this inch stuff, but in "ata" as the Germans had it.For example FAF pilots used 0.9-1.1ata for take-off and 1.1-1.3ata for climb.DB60x could do excess 1.4ata,but caused very fast engine wear,so it was more or less restricted to emergency only.
