Big Salute to Rolling Thunder, USMC/71Sqn, and the rest of VF-15.  Everyone in Echo Strike Group did an OUTSTANDING job last night!  It was an honor flying with every one of you

Great planning leads to great results.

You guys on the planning side did the hard work.

Although I missed this frame, I have heard it was a great success!  Keep up the good work!!!

Big Salute Allied.  The Unforgiven met "A Cloud" of hellcats on their way to V11.  As we engaged, one of our pilots called: "there is an even larger group behind them (another set of F6's)

AKP, it was good to fly with you guys.  Chapel cut us (USMC) loose to sweep the target, and we did not see anything but N1K's and A6M's after that over the City.  I hope you got enough action.  The first group of enemy had A6M's and N1K's, and what looked like a second group of N1K's were behind them with altitude, closer to the target.  I finally went down as the bombers were exiting the target area, and the rest of the squad was pretty much spent by then.  It was fun, and a good fight with those N1Kies.  They were not giving us any opportunities.  Lots of fun though.  Salute all.

It was apparently a flaming sky of fire, no more than 3 mins before the main bomber groups arrived. Without the 71st Sweeping the area clean, assisted by many other friendly fighters including some from VF-15, Rolling Thunder, and any others.....we'd have been scrap metal on the deck.

<SALUTE> to all those in the area! You cleaned it out and got the bombers in/out with minimal losses.
Appreciate the efforts!
