Anyone else still playing, it gets quite addicting, I've been playing this more then AH now.  So far I'm a level 13 Royal gunner.

Just gave it a try, it's really fun for being a free online game, thanks for letting me know about it. :aok

Free is a relative term.  While downloading and playing might be 'free', if you don't want to be anyone's pin cushion you'll need to fork over money in their item store to stay competitive.

Yeah I finally broke down today and spent $10 on Battlefield Funds, just bought supplies & 2 new guns, defiantly helps, and you really can't complain at just spending $10 on it, well worth it.

I also made it to level 13 without buying any weapons, I did buy some using the free money you can earn, so you can do good in the game without spending money if you want.

There's supposed to be some code on bottles of Dr.Pepper for Valor points in the game, if anyone has a Dr.Pepper bottle with one of these codes on it I would greatly appreciate it if you could PM it to me.

Had to try this game...it's a lot like TF2.

Basically you have to buy new weapons some how?  Whether it be real money or the free stuff?

Yeah but I definitely think it's well worth spending the $10 to buy upgraded weapons & supplies for the game, and once you buy the upgraded weapons you have them forever if you choose to get the unlimited time on it.

Copy that, think I'll throw in 10 or 15 as well...with the valor points...I have 700 something or 800...what are they used for and what can I buy with them ?  I'm a "commando" so I'm triying to upgrade the poison knife thingy...the beginner sniper is completely worthless.

I really despise the guys with the spray n pray heavy machine guns.

Not sure on what you can buy as a Commando, I'm a Gunner, so we have different weapons we can purchase.  As for the valor points, you can use them to buy weapons as well, but you can only buy them for 1 or 3 days, with purchasing Battlefunds you can buy the weapons and keep them indefinitely.

Not sure about the poison knife thing, is it a weapon you can buy, or is it an ability?  Abilities are the things you use your Hero points to upgrade, you get a Hero point for every even number level you reach.  Right now I'm at level 13, I used most of my Hero points to upgrade my Leg-it ability to the max which is level 5, really comes in handy to get where your going faster if there's no vehicles, or to get away from an enemy fast.

The poison knife is the abilities thing, since commandos get a knife and a sniper. Like I said since the Sniper is pretty much useless (takes a full 8 rds to barely kill the guy) I like to use the invisible thing and sneak up on guys.

So items bought with VP always have time restrictions on them?

Yeah when you buy a weapon with just Valor points you can only buy it for either 1 or 3 days, buying it for 3 days of course cost more points.  When you go to purchase an item it will show you the cost of it and for how many days you'll get the item.  It's well worth spending the $10 to get the 1400 Battlefunds to buy some weapons & have unlimited time on them, also use some on the BF to purchase the medic widgets to heal yourself, you get something like 110 use for I think 80 BF, and buy the one that stops burning bullets from hurting you, those are well worth it to get.

A friend of mine who I told about the game had the same thing happen to him, but it only happened once.  Try email their support and ask because Punkbuster is a program to stop people from using hacks.
