If everyone only fought with advantage..... it'd sure be a boring game

If everybody would fly 38's only.... it'd sure be a boring game
If everybody would fly buffs only.... it'd sure be a boring game
If everybody would furball only.... it'd sure be a boring game
If everybody would fly Spit 16's only.... it'd sure be a boring game
If everybody would attack bases and nobody would defend them.... it'd sure be a boring game
If everybody would fly not higher than 5k.... it'd sure be a boring game
If everybody would drive in tanks only.... it'd sure be a boring game
If everybody would play for score only.... it'd sure be a boring game

But not everybody does. All players do all kind of things, and that is what the MA's make such a wonderful sandbox to play in.

"Ooh, it takes every kind of people
To make what life's about, yeah
Every kind of people
To make the world go 'round"

Next month I'm going for 186 deaths with no kills.....i think i can do it. :pray

Guess i'll set the views in my B5N  :rock

Hmm... last tour I was up to >40-0 in a B5N before I started to get sloppy. So it's definitely possible. Good luck :)

Isn't it impossible for everyone to have the advantage?   :headscratch:

I'm impressed.  186 kills in under 14 hours means he isn't cruising along at fuel-saving altitudes waiting for the lone AFK pilot, either.

Heck, anyone who can fly the ki84 without ripping the tail feathers off impresses me to no end.

Vinkman,

The stats you posted are from this tour, the tour I achieved 249-0. My combined score in fighter and attack mode was 249 before I was killed.

lol no where did I say he sucks, as a matter of fact I said opposite,  but in a GAME that is about fighting.............hey its his $15.

 :rofl

I'm okay with everything you said, but consider the upside here... Let's do a little role play.

Kazaa: say, bee-atches, looks like I've rolled all of you over and driven a Class 8 salami truck right up your asphalt driveway.
You: Who is this guy?
Kazaa: just the man who stuffed your Turducken with a fat tater sausage while you were sleeping on your stomach last night. Check out my end-zone monkey dance here, people - wooooooo-oooo-ooo... Aces High Community, my name is Kazaa. Behold my girthy dominion and know the hell of inadequacy. For you know me as the man in the MA who does "whatevah he waaaaunt!" Come check out this dump I just took - see how it coils in the bowl until it's terminus protrudes like the periscope of a late-war Type XXI! One flush will not take such monsters down!
You: I'm going to rail half-heartedly from a position of irrelevance, for I question your methods!
Vinkman: No, no, he's just throwing down the gauntlet, doing a sort of online cupcheck.

Me: The entire Knight community hereby places a price on Mr. Kazaa's head (can we somehow do this? Does Kaz switch countries often? It'd be more fun if he stuck to one for the duration of his streak.)

And all that aforesaid crap doesn't change my view that Kaz is an honorable gent doing us a kind of service - the Vinkster being entirely correct, imj, about purpose lending, well, purpose - and the fun being attenuated for a lack of it.

:uhoh Kazza is an AI component of AH...He is the reason for combat tours' eventual resting, as his little piece of coad became self aware...although they tried to shut him down he managed to eluded the bosses. He is like a virus...ever changing and hiding bits of coad here and there...It has been noted by some that there has been some cloning of his coadcells, these you find taking control of jets within the arenas..... :uhoh :noid  :bolt:

well gee   "... WW2  COMBAT Experience."     "Combat" usually equates to "fighting"

personalty I don't care "what" your belief is or how you/anyone plays the game, BUT I will state what MY opinion is in a discussion board about said COMBAT game.
You think that you could fly around and get 186 kills in just under 14 hours and only pick fights where you have the advantage?  This works out to be about 13-14 kills an hour, seems to me he was just fighting when ever a fight presented itself, not picking & choosing his fights.

I think it's an impressive thing to have been able to do. :salute
