. . . strapping yourself into a plane with the sole intention of ramming defeats the whole point of an air combat game...

...and yet so many people do it.

The thing only had like 3,000 pounds of ords.It would be cool but wouldn't it be perked because it's a jet and we would sacrifice perks just to Kamikaze in to a carrier.Long as it is perked 10-50 no higher it sounds cool.
Which model? Only 3,000 lbs of ordnance? The only type that saw action (if you can call it that; the Ohka didn't have any guns) was the type 11, which was powered by rocket motors, and had a 1,200 kg warhead, which translates to a little more than 2,400 lbs, which still is a lot of ordnance. Also, the idea of perking something because it is a jet is silly. The reason the jets are perked is because of the potential they have, not because they are powered by jet engines. Same reason why the Tempest, Tiger, and 4-Hog are perked.

It wouldn't mind the Ohka if it worked something like this:

Your friend picks the G4M2, no formations, in the hangar and selects the Ohka shackles as his load out.  He then spawns on the runway and waits.

You pay X perks for the Ohka and select the same spawn point he just did, appearing shackled to the G4M2.

Your friend then carries you to the target.  When desired he drops you and you begin your controlled glide in, firing your rocket motor when desired.

All perks are lost.  The loss of the perk points symbolizing the loss of the pilot.  The perk cost should be significant, in the range of the cost of a single Ar234.

an ohka will be a good idea, it can be launched from the betty bombers and the engine can be ignited by the turn on engine button it can be counted as attacker or bomber and the bombers can return automaticly

If the ohka WILL be perked IF we ever get it, it should be perked as a bomber or its own category. It cant be called a fighter, as it has no ords or any means of really killing another plane. It's job was to AT as a bomb, so ?it only makes sense to me that it is perked as an ord deliverer.

In my concept it would be using bomber perks, but not those of the G4M2 pilot.  It would use the bomber perks of the player piloting the Ohka, and it would have to be pricey enough to discourage common usage, even knowing the perk price could not be refunded.

Of course it would also be attached to the slow, vulnerable G4M2 and if that got shot down, well, goodbye to your perks that way too.

Yeah that's what I am saying, G4m2 pilot shouldn't have to pay any perks, but the Ohka pilot would.

OR! IF we get the betty and the Ohka (not going to happen) you could perk the ohka as ord and when you use it YOU go into the ohka with your bomber unpretected (unless some one else is your gunner) BANG it counts as a death on you, but if you killed anyone else that counts too. Then you get back in the pilots seat and have to land your bomber to keep your points. what do ya think? :devil

BANG you hit, it counts as a death on you, but if you killed anyone else that counts too. Then you get back in the pilots seat and have to land your bomber to keep your points. what do ya think? It efects your kill to death ratio, your perk points, and could probably do some pretty good damage.

P.S. and don't act like you wouldn't be able to fly it anyone can fly any plane in the game i'm tired of people acting like that. *hits period key really hard*

No, I don't think the Ohka should ever be usable by one person.  It should require two players, one to fly the Betty and one to fly the Ohka.

And you lose ALL your perks. Fighter, bomber, and vehicle.

No, that is overkill.  Just a lot of bomber perks.

Considering the ridiculous ease with which a player can build up massive loads of bomber perks I think not. It could cost 500 and there's still guys out there that could run 4-5 suicide flights and still not run out of them.
