Norteast Round Four
« on: February 26, 2010, 06:35:59 AM »
Well, the Northeast is in round four in snow. With high winds and lightsnow and below freezing weather.
I ate so much sugar Hallowen night, I gave myself diabetes and gave everyone related to me second- hand diabetes.

So far we have about 2 ft of slush and 8 inches of snow. I have to go up on a mountain today to give a lady a bill, and she has 3 ft of snow. A little elevation made a huge difference.

Central NY is in round 1 with snow...all 3 other storms missed us. We got about 20 inches of fresh snow in 2 days. I'm lovin' it!

This one missed DC entirely, but the wind sure didn't.

16" more in Eastern PA today.

An intresting fact i found on line-- Juneau Alaska 2010 snowfall totals 42"
Philadelphia 2010 Snowfall totals    73" ( not including todays storm )

Im about an 1 1/2 hrs north of Phila.  Looks like i need to move to Alaska if i want to get away from the snow  :D

we've only got a few inches here in south jersey.

the only thing making things bad right now, is the incompetent drivers out there.

When I was taxiing around Newark it didn't seem like there was much left...I guess down there it melts fast, was only small piles of snow around.

Well it seems I get slammed with every storm. I get 250 miles down the road and have to shut down, I'm getting sick of this "stuff".

Ohhh well I just made 30 dollars cash plus an extra stop.

this time, it did melt pretty quickly. it snowed most of yesterday, but since we had a couple of days of rain, that raised the ground temp enough to keep the initial stuff from sticking.
once the sun went down, it started sticking on non-blacktopped surfaces, but even now, it's not that bad.

like i said........the only problem, is incompetent drivers. the ones that idle along in drive, 'cause there's white stuff in the air........
