A Challenge
« on: March 03, 2010, 07:56:53 AM »
I continue to check the BBs regularily even though it seems every topic, every question and every whine has been covered and rehashed.  For the most part I've finally stopped responding to threads for this very reason.  I've already responded, most likely several years ago.

So here's the challenge:

For every thread that you are considering responding to instead do a search and quote yourself responding to a similar discussion from as far back as you can find.

This could be fun!

If we can't find a quote of our own, do we get half points for quoting what we consider to be the definitive answer from someone else ... ?

Well of course.  Getting to that altitude is the best way to conserve fuel.

Re: Oprah, Dr. Phil, SNL or Jerry Springer?
Which do you think 200 (and the BBs) is most like?

From a whine about puffy ack that eventually became a discussion about how it especially likes perked rides:   :D

I was attacking a CV the other day and had to quit and go run an errand.

I got a nasty blowout on the way to the store.

I'm pretty sure it was the puffy-ack.  My truck is perked....

Do not get caught up in the country-centric thinking.
The great thing about irony is that it splits things apart, gets up above them so we can see the flaws and hypocrisies and duplicates. - David Foster Walla
