Gun sound bug

In the WW1 arena I turned the gun sound down to like 15, but anytime I restart the game it's back to sounding loud, even though it still says 15, if I go into the sounds and just move it and put it back on 15 there quite again.

Actually now it's every time I up I have to go into sounds and do it, haven't check if it's with all the planes, just the F1.
