Love the sounds! Putting them in my sounds folders.  :aok

*EDIT* I just put the sounds into my sounds pack. They dont seem to work. Do the files need to be renamed? Or will there need to be a new file designation in the game for the WW1 planes?  :headscratch:

For the camel, there should be a folder named camel with 4 sounds in it.  eng.wav, engstart.wav and 2 30cal sounds.  The fokker D.VII folder should be dvii with same number of files.  Makesure u have those folders and they are in the sounds folder.

The engine sounds was one thing we were and are not really happy with, but had not been able to find one that we liked in the allotted time. So if one is found that we like and is copy write fee we will change the default sound.

You shouldn't have to because there was no folder named camel or dvii.  These are new and the default sounds are stored in a .res file in the root Aces high folder, not the sounds folder.  Only reason u should rename a old folder is if you are trying multiple sounds for same plane but don't want to delete them.  You just want to use them at a later time.

Is it possible Hitech that you can get the other sound file names being used for the wwi planes?  Haven't figured out the others quite yet.

Thanks Dogg, I'm going to take you up on that and use that Camel start and engine sound.  I'll get a list of the new sound names together and post them in the sounds forum this week.

BTW, give me a day or 2.  I would like to tweak the start sound alittle to blend in better or if you guys can do it, go ahead.  I just slapped it together lastnight with only about 20 mins testing.
