I would love to know the name of that plane thing and where there is a version at least dubbed in english.  That is some of the funniest stuff I have seen on plane comedy in a while.

Any similar video by american students would been the same. Supposedly this animation was created by some chinese students. The animation is somewhat playful and I think the other two planes were not chinese.

This is also a somewhat typical story, where the arrogant characters get owned. This in mind I'd say the plane choices for the roles were somewhat good. The more menacing planes were the baddies while the unarmed planes were the opposite, and anything between was somewhere between. Mediocre planes, being the weaker ones like in the stories, teamed up and won against the unbeatable odds.

What other plane would you portray as the arrogant and powerful bad boy? Not many choices there. So I wouldn't get too political over the video.

I wouldn't disagree with that at all, in fact I was PMing allaire about this and mentioned that without question the the same thing was happening in the United States.  If you look at the related videos, the other F-22 vs. J-10 video is less subtle.  Their isn't much comedy, just American "cows" getting show down by Chinese "sheep".  You get to see the cows locked up in a cage at the end.  The Americans (F-22) aren't acting arrogant at all, but still get taken down by the Chinese.  I think it's hard to say there isn't a blatant message in that.

So again I agree, of course China has a stereotype and reputation that was partly built on videos and public conversation similar to this video here in the United States.

The first one was still funny as hell though, I laughed through the whole thing.
