First bit.
This is the first bit I have got so far. Dont worry, I am not going to clog the BB's with the whole book, just progress.
I used a combination of my own style of writing with the best and most helpful features of both W.E Johns and Dale Brown (My Heroes).
Russian Federation Embassy Paris – 6:38 AM June 8th 2016
The hallway in the embassy clattered with footsteps, the highly polished floorboards creaking with the weight of the ambassadors from NATO. Generals and diplomats from France, Britain and the United States power walked towards the office of the Russian ambassador their shoes shining under the embassy lights. They reached the door in seconds and pushed the double oak doors open with a vengeance, the Russian ambassador Yuri Vologda Stefanovic stood up as the party reached his desk. “Gentlemen, I have nothing more to say to you other than that the President AND the Prime Minister have made up their minds. We will not allow the Ukraine OR Georgia to join NATO, their trade and co-operation in Eastern European matters is essential for Russia’s well being. And joining NATO would involve complete separation. So the answer is no”.
“Mr. Ambassador” spoke out the British Ambassador. “They have applied and we have accepted, a universal vote was taken and they were welcomed. They wish to have their say in GLOBAL affairs and neither you nor we have the right to deny them that”. “On the contrary we do, for the reasons in which we have already mentioned they must not join NATO and we have taken steps to ensure this” replied the Russian coolly. It was now the turn of the American who was in no way amused. “You invaded them and subdued them, and not only that you have SEVEN!!! Fully equipped armies along the border of Poland and Czechoslovakia. This could only be described as a declaration of war!” Again Yuri replied coolly “If it is war that NATO wishes then you shall receive it gentlemen in large quantity, that you can be sure and I am sure the United States will be relieved. But Russia will not be moved on this topic and that is final”. The silence that fell across the room was eerie, each man knew what the continuation of this meeting would lead to should a resolution fail to materialize. The bookcases and statues lining the walls spoke of the yesteryear, the days where Soviet pomp and power had long since disappeared but their legacy lived on in the Paris embassy. This atmosphere gave the NATO ambassadors an uneasy feeling. Finally the silence was broken by the American General “Mr. Ambassador, I am sure you realize what a war would entail”, “I am fully aware G.I Joe” came the sneer of a reply. The Americans face turned scarlet with mortification and anger at Yuri’s apparent contempt for him ‘so this Ruski piece of toejam thinks he can screw me around, well I will show him’ he thought. “Mr. Ambassador you are declaring war on the United States, a country that has NEVER lost a war in its entire history. It would be wise for you to contemplate your position” grated the American
