FSO: Greece 1941 - Frame 3 Objectives Sent
« on: March 21, 2010, 09:54:27 AM »
Gentlemen,

I have used the results of frame 2's fighting to determine the battle front for frame 3. Objectives for frame 3 have been sent to both sides.

In addition this will be the last frame for Greece. After discussing with other CMs the idea of a fourth frame has been nixed since it would cause schedule issues with the Aprl FSO.

So good hunting this week and if you have any questions contact me. If you are a part of your squad's command staff listed on AHevents.org and did not get my email with the objectives and map for your side also contact me.

Will this be the final frame or are we going to have a Frame 4?

This will be the final frame since if we did a frame 4 it would impact the schedule for the rest of the year.

So frame 3 (final frame) Friday.

Did I miss something that this was supposed to be a four frame FSO before?
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Nope .. I did mention though that I would talk things over with the other CMs to see if we should tack on a 4th frame or not and not count frame 2 (this past friday) since it was meant as a load test on the arena. Consensus is to move on and end things after the 3rd frame this friday.

You didn't miss anything.  This last week for round 2 of frame 2 they were expecting the server to crash just like it did the previous week, actually they were sure it would. My understanding is that they considered a re-do since the hype was things would crash and everyone would log off early. This left the possibility of either side to claim bad fso for poor attendance etc. Just a precautionary move but wise.  Looks like all is back to normal now.  :rock
