Are there any color swatches for WWI planes?  I looked at simmerspaintshop, maybe I didn't look hard enough.

I used this one back when I skinned but it looks like they changed the site around. I remember they have WWI-modern.

here we go.

I am far from being an accurate judge of black and white photography but it looks to me like the white cowl is the more accurate version?

Thanks for the additional images.  I'm still wondering about that right side though.

My Guess the letter P maybe on the right? I only have two other pictures of this squadron showing the right side one has a letter on it & the other has nothing? I think the cowl is grey if you look at these pictures of white cowled F2'S I think you can see there is quite a difference. Based off my prior photo of TORONTO The letter R plane I think has it's cowl painted the same olive drab as the rest of the plane giving the illusion that TORONTO is white. My best guess. Any one else have any thoughts on this?

EDIT: i understand mensa is starting with 'F.2B D-7939, No.20 Squadron "TORONTO"?

Mus I doubt my work will be good enough to submit, or if I even totally complete it.  I'm just trying to have some fun and learn. If it turns out nicely then maybe submit.

I was looking for an F.2B that had a white cowl.

I have no profiles of WW1 F2's with white cowls. Most of the pictures I have showing white cowl's were trainers or are post war,or they don't have enough information about them to know exactly when they had the lighter noses post during or before?
