Shifty,  what time do you guys start on Thursdays?  I noticed that seems to be a popular night in AvA.

I leave for work early evenings, but I can sometimes stretch it until 9 or a lil after.  I was in earlier and Twizzty gave me a good lesson in turn fighting (lesson was don't .... if opponent is twizzty - even saying his name is making me dizzy).

:salute Guys, sorry I missed the fun..... story of my life.

We came in around 8:00 PM CST it was just myself an another VF-17 member. We fought each other for a bit until others showed.
You guys gave as good as you got Gyrene. One problem with the current map is somebody is always in the other guys ack. We were trying to stay away from the puffy fleet ack so the fight was usually just off our airfieldairfield. Our ack may not kill you but it was a finger pointing right at you. You guys fought very well.

Yeah Chilli those were fun fights though, especially the Spit/TBM fight.

Shifty, you guys were fighting well together and made it almost impossible to disengage at all, good times. I only had time for a few fights but they were intense for sure.

I have to say I wasn't fond of the 1K friendly icon range, I liked it better @ 3K...it made coms very interesting though.

Tbarone and I went in last night. it was pretty fun, except for the part where i was getting beat up 2-3 on one every time. the friendly icon range could be increase a bit. i thought 325 yards was a bit low. tbar told me he wont be back due to the friendly icon and some of the tactics later in the evening. we were in around 11pm EST last night.

just observations, not a complaint.

You didn't need to disengage Twizzty you kept killing me.  ;)

I've probably been a bore as much as I mentioned this. Yes I agree the friendly icons should be around 3k. There are going to be setups where teamwork is essential for survival the limited friendly icons almost makes this impossible.

To shifty and all the other vile allied pilots who shot me down.  Yes it was fun.  In fact I have not had this much fun since I was poked in the eye with a sharp stick.  My momma always said someone could put a eye out with those things.  A big salute goes out to everyone and a fun night.

It was a good time Wagger. I think I gave you the easiest kill of the night. I followed your Zeke through the vertical and was just not quite able to work you in my sights so I kept pushing it.
I ended up flat on my back falling for what seemed like forever. I got to listen to BC talking about what you were doing over vox as he engaged you and I just kept falling for what seemed like 5 minutes. I tried everything aileron elevators rudder and trim the Hurricane would just not nose over into a dive. I even put my gear out hoping that would cause something to happen. I just hit the ground as an inverted pankcake after what seem like forever awarding you the kill. I think it was after that I switched to the B-239. LOL, it was a fun night  fighting you guys.

Dude.  You got the Hurri I to act like a Spit I.  I've never been able to do that.  Pretty impressive, congrats.
