Dear Pyro, any news about :

The new P47-D30 test that we did on http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/Forum9/HTML/000851.html   ?

At 5K, I tried it light (shot all amo, 25% fuel) and I find it strange that Wep still gives me an increase of 7 MPH. It's 2 MPH more that what I found for the same test when heavy (max amo, 100% fuel). So I believe that the weight thing is still not the answer why the Wep is not effective like on your chart.

You explained me that you checked it and everything was ok. Any idea why I still can't match your results on my PC. Do you think I have something wrong here? I don't think so because some other people find results similar to mine.

Help me    ... Thank you for your time Pyro.

I could not duplicate your results in test mode, so I looked at it with the release FE.  I don't know how you can judge 2 mph increments, but I looked at the gauge zoomed in and each tick should be about 12.5 miles.  It looked to me to move 1 complete tick when I kicked in wep.  Is that not what you're seeing?

Pyro, the P-47D-30 and P-47D-25 are displaying the exact same performance with WEP. Is this supposed to be?

Actually there isn't much difference between a D-25 and a D-30. Joe Baugher has a nice section on it:

P-47D

As you can see, there isn't much difference.

Dear Pyro, thank you again for looking at this. I will re-do the test with the new patch and record it. I will take a picture of the gauges after before.

Regards, Frenchy.

I just took the D-30 (100 fuel, 8 guns, 267 RPG) to 5k and did a top speed test.  In each case I climbed to 6k and dove to 5k, then let the speed drop until it stabilized.

I got about 340 mph TAS with MIL power and 350 mph TAS with WEP.

The 340 mph is an estimate - the red TAS bug appeared to be about 2/3 of the way from 325 to 350.  The 350 mph reading had the TAS bug square on top of the 350 tick.

From the HTC charts it looks like MIL should be 345 mph and WEP should be 360 mph.

Citabria got the same exact results as I did:  http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/Forum9/HTML/000851.html

flakbait; In AH the D-30 runs 65" MAP with WEP, the D-25 only 60". Their climb and top speed are identical. Something is broken.
