Any vehicle/aircraft/boat/ect in Aces High dies when its "pilot" is killed. Makes sense in planes, but can get a little wonky in GVs. A vehicle's "pilot" is in the driver's seat, so if you can get your lead stream down through the open turret and have a round hit the driver's head, the tank explodes. This is why Jeeps can kill Tigers; drive inside the Tiger, pour a few .50 rounds into the control panel (driver), Tiger explodes.

Noticed the same problem on Sunday in both Ostis and Weebles...

Spits, 110s and a P-51 ALL morted me on first passes with short bursts.

Dont know what's happened to the models, but something sure seems to have.

For those of you who don't think a .50 cal can go through 0.4 inches of armor pretty quick you are sadly mistaken. From World War II through the Vietnam War, the big Browning was used with standard ball, armor-piercing (AP), armor-piercing incendiary (API), and armor-piercing incendiary tracer (APIT) rounds. All .50 ammunition designated "armor-piercing" was required to completely perforate 0.875" (22.2 mm) of hardened steel armor plate at a distance of 100 yards (91 m), and 0.75" (19 mm) at 547 yards (500 m). All WW2 .50 cal equipped aircraft used API or APIT ammo.
