HeartBreak Kid - Shawn Michaels
« on: March 30, 2010, 11:56:15 AM »
I was flipping through channels and came across Rrraaastlin and saw Shawn Michaels of the WWE give his Farewell speech.

I remember seeing him wrestle as a kid as part of the Rock n Roll Express in the NWA days.  I guess he lost to the undertaker and at age 44, he's calling it quits.  His speech was honest about himself and the people he was surrounded with.  I thought it was a touching moment.  I hope he will be in peace with his family.

Thanks for the memories Shawn.  :aok

So he was never part of the Rock and Roll Express. I think you have him mistaken for Ricky Morton

Ah, it was the Midnight Rockers - right.  Then the Rockers.  You are correct.

S'ok.  Didn't Hulk marry the doppelganger of his daughter?  Couldn't that almost be as if he married a younger version of his own wife, if you want to make it not so creepy in the first place?

Getting out of wrestling in anything other than a pine box is pretty good these days.
... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB

Sad to see him go, always thought he did a good job. When DX was DX, they were pretty good

At times I liked him as a solo act, rather than DX.  He was a pretty good heel too.
