Mrmidi or Ranger,

Is there a way to make custom tiles for the terrain editor? I am looking to change the snow and I would like to make my own airfield using the small runway but change the pavement to dirt. Any help would be appreciated.

Absolutely ... using the object editor you can create your own air field using the objects and make it a tile.

You can edit the runway texture and make it dirt, grass, psp or what ever.
I believe several of us have done that in the past.

It's a 512x256 .bmp for the runway texture named cstrwy.  Your new one would go into your terrain's texsrc folder (which you need to create inside your terrain's folder).
