Is it just me?
« on: April 07, 2010, 10:27:50 AM »
In WWI I had to quit flying the Camel because when I do I have a huge free zone in the middle of my joystick where I have no control.  As soon as I try to correct to line up a shot, when it finally does move, it overcompensates and swings too far left or right.  I don't have this problem in the F2B or in any of the WWII planes.  Is it just me or does everyone have this problem?  It's too bad because I've given up on the Camel.  I'd love it if it wasn't for this infuriating issue.

I also tried flying the Dr1 for a while but seemed to be particularily inclined toward pilot wounds.  It seemed like every sortie I'd be headed home after the first few turns with a pw so I gave up on that too.  Has anyone else had this problem?

I also tried the DVII but, well, I just don't like it.

So, for now it's F2B FTW!
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

you might want to check your deadbands in the control setup/calibration, all the planes are great it just takes alittle time in getting used to how each kite acts, my favorite is the DVII then DR1, F2B, and camel (poor vis) but i did change my FOV and it made the Camel alittle easier to see out of now
