Then you would be complaining about the 2 mile heat seeking missile picking or the 1k 20mm HO shots at mach2...

You know there were no heat seekers in Korea, right? Most F-86 had 6 .50 cal, Mig 15 had one 23mm, one 37mm. Mig could out climb and out turn, F-86 could easily outdive (it could go supersonic with control in a dive, while the Mig locked up and compressed), out roll, and had much better visibility.

Now, for the important stuff, there was the F4U-5...

I wouldn't want to be going Mach 2 in a F86/Mig15.

Stealth, you want to go Mach 1, and try to get a guns solution on someone?

Do the math, figure the closing speeds for a HO. Then remember that by the time you can turn around he's out of sight.

I wouldn't want to be going Mach 2 in a F86/Mig15.

Well, besides the fact that neither one of these aircraft can reach mach 2 under any circumstances short of dropping them from the space shuttle, the Mig 15 can't do mach 1 in a straight down dive.
