Game Auto-Updater

Hello Skuzzy:

I'm on Vista Home Premium SP2 - 32bit, I've Aces High domiciled at
C:\HiTechcreations\ , I'm logged in as the Administrator.  I'm NOT
harboring AH2 in/on "Program Files", thereby I should be able to have
Auto-updater updating the game, but much to my chagrin it isn't!

Yesterday I updated my AH2 with patch 6, today I'm unable to update
patch 7, would you pls SPELL/LIST the steps for me as to HOW I can
utilize the "Game Auto-Updater" successfully? Kindergarden steps pls!

Do you have two installations of the game on the computer?

What happens when you try to update via the game auto-updater?

It should just work now.  This is the first time I have heard of it not working.

Hi Skuzzy:

Double checked my PC for any other AH2 installations on my system, I've
discovered that I've two(2), one that I'm currently using, ie AH2 & another that I've renamed as "Warfare" so that there'd be no conflicts
with Aces High, ie C:\Warfare\.

When I try to update via the game auto-updater, NO changes take place,
the upper left corner lists my version # with no updates taking place!

How or where in AH2 is the game auto-updater located, how do I make it work?

If you executed the second copy of the game, it will cause the auto-updater to fail.  In that event, you need to download the entire game and install it.
