the B24 under the hangar fly by, and the pony parking in the indestructible were just awesome !   unfortunately the water in low detail is just ugly.

It still has the problem of the subject (the plane) being a tiny mote in the center of a blue sky. Even if you're not getting fancy with the camera setup, you still need to actually show what you're trying to show.

Take a sampling of random frames from the video, and ask yourself "If this were a screenshot, by itself, would I like it?" <-- just as an exercise.

Well I did what i could with the FOV, but most shots start at 5 or 10 FOV and end at 50-90 depending how close they come to the camera. Not sure how i could set up the flybys to have the plane take up a good 75% of the frame for the whole shot.

If you have an example shot you could show me, would be tremendously helpful.
Thanks for your feedback

When in F3 mode just use the [ and ] keys to move your FOC or camera position (I forget which it is). Just like in-game.

You may need to break your shot into smaller "sub-shots" and put them together in post production.  The film viewer has its limitations, and it's easy to try to do too much within a single sequence.  I'm guilty of it too.  There were a couple of shots in my SpitV movie that started too far away based on how I wanted the flyby to look.
My Current Rig:
GigaByte GA-X99-UD4 Mobo w/ 16Gb RAM
Intel i7 5820k, Win7 64-bit
NVidia GTX 970 4Gb ACX 2.0
Track IR, CH Fighterstick, CH Pro Throttle, CH Pro Pedals
