that was a fun time last night. the lack of icons definitely make for a more challenging dogfight and necessitates an enhanced level of SA.
i tried turning off even friendly icons, but it was just too difficult. i can't imagine how it must've been IRL on those huge WW2 furballs.

Was fun I flew both Allied and axis  Think the dar was on over axis 30 base and off over allied 48 base  Had some great fights wile driving a P40

Al be it had to be a bit more sneaky with the axis dar showing my position.

Furballing is fun, but isnt that what the MAs and Da are for...what happened to some Squad on Squad realistic "stick to the Historical Setting" kinda stuff in the AvA.  This is why I am a little abset these days.  Guys want to bring the MA to the only Arena we have where you can enjoy a historical plane set and actually run bomber/bomber escort missions, Ground Assaults,  DOgfights High above (not furball kill/pick/vulch/etc) 1 on 1 or maybe 2 on 2.  I know I will be crucified for making this comment, but dont care.  This game is getting more and more ridiculous everytime I log on with M8s 1 shotting Main Battle Tanks, Tigers surviving tons of bombs dropped, Bombers that Divebomb from 5 k instead of bombing from 20, etc.  I had to shoot a wirble in the Blue Arena Tonight from 5o Ft 5 times with the 85mm on the T34...i mean, WTF???!!!
