You realize that at that speed you're airborn already, right? So, your wish is granted! You CAN man the guns at those speeds!
in lancs? or B24s? and btw since when has even a Kate upped at 50mph?

Liftoff is usually around 80mph for a lot of those birds when you use a notch of flaps, the kate will easily lift off at super slow speeds with flaps. But that's not an issue, since he's talking about formations with heavy gun emplacements that can clear an airfield under attack.

We're not allowed to shoot bombers wile we are on the ground I understand not wanting people to defending bases just by upping bombers and sitting on the runway. But I want to get in the air with a B-25h to clear a vehicle spawn when there is a furball going on, and I want to be able to defend myself when I'm going down the runway. So I propose that they let us use the gunners seats on bombers WHILE WE'RE MOVING not just in the air whether we're on the ground or not.

i like watching the guys that take lancs up for gv's....and give those gv's 14,000 pounds of love. 'cept if i;m one of the gv's.  :neener: :rofl :noid

:huh B25h,tbm, and il2's are single bombers i didn't say just for formations where is this stuff coming from? :headscratch: and the B25h does not lift off at 50 mph flaps or not so they do not work.

He didn't say 50mph, READ. And they do work, they take of at VERY low speeds for its size.

Again, those may be "bombers", but they are not true bombers. More over heavy fighters with lots 'o' load to handle tanks or any light enemy (including trains, boats, and bases).

By the way, to the old reply. Just because you do whatever you feel like doesn't mean you can come and complain that "whatever i feel like" tactics are going down hill because you don't know a  :furious, let me repeat, YOU DON'T KNOW A  :furious ABOUT BOMBING.

Why do you sit there and insult someone you don't know? You've never bombed with me. You make it sound hard like your the master and no one does it as good as you. Did you pay to go to a school for this or something? cuz it wasn't worth the time or money.

No, I'm not the master at bombing, but i sure as heck don't go do my own stunts then complain about them on the BBS.

I actually like new bomber pilots, but i absolutely hate when they complain about how they do it "their" way and it fails because they do "their" way before actually practicing a bit. The reason i got so ticked off was because instead of just dropping the problem and went to go find a fix you argue and complain of you failing tactics.

So I'm just going to stomp you down right here. -10 to the idea, you're not worth the time to argue.

At one point in my life I was a black belt in Goshin-Do Aikijitsu.............

But that self defense knowledge never helps me on the runway.
