Anyone else getting Discoed?

Last few days i have been getting discoed, i checked the logs for modem and also ADSL provider and they are all good, its a bummer upping to be discoed entering a fight, any ideas?
Also i have seen a lot less players on whats the story, is this a patch issue or are the kids back to school?

I was sure i had been cursed by the rooks, i once went up to 25k and i caught a weird VD type disease, i still have the problem but i blame my wife for that now.
Sure makes it hard to enjoy a game that i know will boot me just before i have climbed up to a rook. :mad:
I do hope that bugs and my VD go away soon be fore the game has none one to fight as i cant get to 25k before i am booted.  :cry
over and out for the night, a bishop whinner.

   Waffle found us out but we still have a man on the inside that will pull the server plug whenever a Bish goes over 20 K. Knights we don't worry about.  :)

Yes I have gotten discoed which is weird b/c I never got them before. Also one of my squadmates got discoed right when he got to base with troops. Conspiracy going on, luckily though we were able to keep everything down for him to fly another sector and a half with troops and we still got the base woohoo.

Disco.... not so much. Twice in the last week, but the worse problem is the freezing up.

I get discoed 2 or 3 times a night.  I don't fly 262's much as I've been discoed in them to and I lose perks.  I get discoed most of the time while trying to fire or in sharp turns or if I try to pull up the map sometimes and it doesn't come up and the game freezes or I've been discoed trying to hit end sortie before.  Just weird trying to perform simple tasks in the game and for some reason the game freezes and says host lost connection which I know is not the truth.

35 times in 14 hrs of playing. Anyone have any easy ideas other than a complete rebuild of the internet ect?

If it was an issue with the game you would see hundreds of posts of people freaking out because they are being disco'd.

Since that isn't happening it is probably something on your end.

Try running a PingPlotter for a 1/2 hour and post the results in the Technical Support forum.

I'm not saying it's AH on my end I know my problem, I've run the ping plotter and it is showing some problems but I personally believe that most people getting discoed are probably in a similar situation as myself by barely on the video card to play the game and when the game gets to point like firing or is pushed it freezes and says host lost connection and in reality the game just froze and had nothing to do with the internet.  From the amount of discos I've gotten that's the conclusion I have.  Might be right, and might not be just imo.

I have been getting Host Lost Connection way more frequently than normal. Probably 1-2 times in a 3-4 hour session. Also for the past 2-3 weeks my dad (Redge) has been getting discoed after about 10 minutes into a sortie without fail. It's to the point where he's talking about canceling his account.

Download a copy of "PingPlotter" so you can see exactly who's dropping packets and you can call your server and complain. ATT, Sprint, and a lot of other relay ports are dumping packets at times as high as 100%. This gives yoiu a record to complain about specific relays & you can send it to your server tech case manager. Mine packet loss dropped significantly after sending a bunch of 50-100% loss graphs in to clearwire.  :cheers:

I have had lots of nasty things like you VHS,BETAMAX and now I have FULL HD
