Make sure that you research your PSUs completely and check into the methods used by the reviewer sites you look at. Read this article completely through:

Nice read, always looking to pick up a few more facts on PSUs as they seem to be one of the more complicated parts in a computer.

I actually just read this just BEFORE seeing your post. It was an interesting read. Then I searched for my PSU and come to find out it's actually a Seasonic in disguise! Woot!

thats a great site btw
some bstard has walked off with my current clamp so I cant test my PSU. picked it up for £50, about £300 to replace it
I need to install one of these in my toolbox...
